George Kashindi

George is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over 20 years’ experience as a practicing advocate. He is the Team Leader at Training & Consulting Associates Limited with over ten (14) years of experience with the firm. He holds a Masters’ of Law (LLM) in Financial Services Law from the University of Nairobi. George previously worked at Kenya Revenue Authority as a Senior Legal Officer and has considerable experience in taxation and revenue matters. He also has tremendous experience in the legal/ regulatory sector and has undertaken trainings on strategy, compliance, legal, regulatory and governance audits, board effectiveness and evaluation for a number of Kenyan corporations including NHIF, Sidian Bank, National Water & Pipeline Corporation and Kwale County. He has also trained a number of Advocates on how to conduct Legal and Governance Audits through a training programme offered by the firm on Legal Audits. As a lawyer, George currently acts for regulators including National Construction Authority, Kenya National Highways Authority, Agriculture and Food Authority, Kenya Ports Authority, NGO Coordination Board to name but a few. He has been the team leader in conducting legal, regulatory and compliance audits for various entities in the public sector and well as blue chip companies including Safaricom Limited, Electricity Generating Company

Mrs. Irene Kashindi

Irene is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over 15 years’ experience as a legal practitioner. Irene is a Director at TCA. She was previously a partner in Hamilton Harrison & Mathews. Irene has significant and distinguished experience in employment and labour relations matters. She was consistently been top-ranked by the reputable, Chambers and Partners global guide in from 2017 to date in this practice area where she is described as “excellent,” “She is informed, professional and proactive”, “a formidable employment lawyer with significant contentious and non-contentious mandates” “She is particularly in demand in employment litigation.” “She’s prominent in the area and has had a lot of matters in the employment courts. She has been involved in notable and important litigation in the country and was the recipient of International Law Office Client Choice Awards 2018 for Litigation. She was part of the team that represented a leading player in the tobacco industry before the High Court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court in challenging the lawfulness and constitutionality of certain regulations affecting the industry. She regularly appears before various statutory tribunals and particularly the Public Procurement Administrative Review Board and has been involved in disputes relating to tenders for some of the largest tenders in the country including various projects in the energy sector, the standard gauge railway, the laptop project and the Lamu Coal power plant project among others. Irene also has considerable experience in tax matters and has represented and advised clients in complex and high exposure tax and revenue disputes. She also handles judicial review and constitutional law disputes among others.

Dr Seth Wekesa

Dr. Wekesa is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya of over 10 years standing and a Senior Lecturer of Law at the University of Nairobi, Faculty of Law. He is also the Director of Training and Consultancy at Training & Consulting Associates Limited with over 7 years of experience with the firm. He holds a Ph.D. in law from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He also holds two Masters of Laws, one in Human Rights and Democratization in Africa from the University of Pretoria and another in Commercial and Financial Services Law from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. He trains in corporate governance, legal audits, regulatory compliance, data protection, legislative review and regulatory impact assessment, and business development among other areas. He has trained government officials on legal and governance audits in addition to leading and conducting several legal and governance audits for State corporations and private companies such as NHIF, Post Bank, Safaricom, KenGen, Kenya Power, Kenya Re, Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation, Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya, Higher Educations Loans Board, Communication Authority, Technical University of Mombasa, Kenya Literature Bureau among others. He is a Partner at Munyao, Muthama and Kashindi (MMK) Advocates where he heads the consultancy and regulatory compliance department. He is also a Certified Secretary and offers company secretarial services to an array of clients.

Judy Warui

Judy is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya of over 15 years standing, a Certified Secretary and an accredited Governance Auditor. She is also a member of the Council of the Institute of Certified Secretaries of Kenya. She is a highly experienced, motivated and self-driven general legal counsel with a passion for matters of corporate governance and strategic leadership. She has served in senior management for over six years and is involved in strategy and policy formulation and implementation. In addition, she is a seasoned corporate governance consultant. She trains in corporate governance, legal audits and regulatory compliance. She has trained the board of directors of Kenya Power, Kenya Re, and KIPPRA among others.
